Regardless of which new Volvo car drivers in Northfield consider or decide to buy, one thing is for certain. This is an automaker that is dedicated to protecting and improving your safety however and whenever possible.

Recently, safety experts working on behalf of Volvo Cars received special recognition from the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration for their contributions to car safety. Senior Technical Leader, Crash Avoidance, and Adjunct Professor at University of Iowa as well as Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, Dr. Trent Victor joined Jonas Ekmark, the manager of Innovation for Active Safety and Chassis, in accepting the awards for their extraordinary contributions to the field of motor vehicle safety.

NHTSA presented the award during the 24th International Technical Conference on the Enhanced Safety of Vehicles last week. The organization presents the awards biannually to four or five deserving contributors to the automotive field throughout the world. Our staff at Fields Volvo Northfield is proud to see that these bright minds of the industry are working to improve the lives of each of our customers. We strive to mirror this attitude by providing Volvo drivers with the best in customer service.
