At Fields Volvo Northfield, we are proud to represent an automaker that goes above and beyond the call of duty. It is this dedication to superior service that inspires our work with customers like you day after day.
For Volvo Car Group, there was simply no holding back at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The automaker made a huge splash at the annual event, going beyond the general approach of sharing upcoming model features and instead announcing its U.S. Revival Plan. Listen up and keep an eye out for these exciting changes!
To kick off its U.S. Revival Plan, Volvo Cars plans to renew its entire product range over the next five years in addition to refining its focus on the Volvo dealer network, introducing world-first engine and safety technologies, increasing marketing spend and revealing a new management team.
The automaker is determined to correct a 10-year trend of sales decreases, with the ultimate goal of achieving around 100,000 unit sales per year in the medium term. Currently, the brand is projecting an annual sales forecast of around 60,000 units. Ultimately, the automaker's goal is to bring U.S. sales closer to that of its strong sales growth in both China and Western Europe.
In addition to announcing this revival plan, Volvo Cars used the auto show as an opportunity to introduce the all-new 2015 Volvo XC90 and 2015 Volvo V60 Cross Country vehicles.
