The development of new active safety systems will take place at all-new facility in Sweden which is next to Volvo Car Corporations facilities, and will be run by the AstaZero Brand. We're very excited about the technologies that will come from these developments! Other recent safety innovations from Volvo Car Corporation include Pedestrian Detection with full auto brake, City Safety, Driver Alert Control, Cross Traffic Alert and Road Sign Information. These systems are currently available in models such as the all-new Volvo V40.
Peter Mertens, Senior Vice President for Research & Development at Volvo Car Corporation, explains:
"With the new facility we will have access to an excellent tool for the development of tomorrow's intelligent safety and driver support systems. ?
