One of our favorite models here at Fields Volvo of Northfield is the XC70. For 2011, the cross-country vehicle really impressed us and here's why!

The 2011 model comes equipped with more power thanks to the two engine options:  a 3.2-liter 6-cylinder or a 3.0-liter six cylinder. The former produces 240 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque, while the latter produces 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque.
With the 3.2-liter engine, the 2011 Volvo XC70 earns 18 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon on the highway. The 3.0-liter engine on the other hand helps the XC70 earn 17 miles per gallon in the city and 22 miles per gallon on the highway. Either way, you're getting a lot out of a gallon!
When it comes to safety, the XC70 lives up to Volvo's strong reputation. Both models come equipped with standard antilock disc brakes, hill descent control, stability control, front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and anti-whiplash front head restraints, while integrated rear booster seats are optional on both models.
The XC70 also stands out when it comes to cargo thanks to its total capacity of 72 cubic feet. This is about 11-15 cubes larger than a typical compact luxury crossover.
The XC70's front seats are the best you'll find, because everyone deserves to be comfortable! The seats achieve a rare combination of chiropractor-approved comfort and body-hugging support.
